Why Freshness Matters in Craft Beer?

With craft beer, freshness is not a detail; it is everything. At Triune Brew, we believe the quality of your beer experience is largely determined by the freshness of your beer.
🍺What does "fresh beer" mean?
Fresh beer implies that the beer is taken near the time when it was made. Beer (or craft beer) does not necessarily get better with age, as is the case with certain drinks.
🥂Why Freshness is important?
Flavour Preservation
With time, the taste in beer ends up fading away or evolving. Hoppy beers such as IPAs dissipate their aroma fast, whilst other beers may acquire objectionable flavors.
Aroma Quality
Fresh beer has solid, vibrant smells. These aromas fade in old age and bring down the experience of beer.
Overall Experience
Fresh beer is fresher and cleaner, brighter and more balanced—just like the brewer wanted it to be.
🍻How to check Beer Freshness?
The following are easy methods of ensuring beer is fresh:
Look at the date of packing (not only the expiry date)
Do not use beers that are stored in a hot environment or in a sunny location
Buy the beers from shops known for their genuineness
❄️Storage Tips for Maximum Freshness
Keep beer refrigerated
Store upright
Avoid direct sunlight
âś…Our Approach at Triune Brew
We put an emphasis on brewing to deliver freshness. We will make sure that no customer leaves without enjoying our beer as it was made, full and rich in character.
